Purpose: Recipient will receive an award to put toward an FAA knowledge test and/or test preparation material required for an FAA Flight, Maintenance, or Dispatcher License. *
Eligibility: Current Women in Aviation International member Current Memphis Belles Chapter member seeking to further their aviation training. Applicant must live in the Tri-State area (Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi) to be considered for all scholarships. Applicant must be 18 years old at the time of scholarship application submission deadline.
How To Apply: For each scholarship include one complete application packet of the following: o Official application form o Professional resume o One one-page letter of recommendation o 500-1000 word essay typed, double spaced and must include the following: • Your aviation history and goals • What you have done to achieve your goals • Where you see yourself in 5 years • How this scholarship will help you achieve your goals • Explanation of your present financial need • Demonstrated involvement in aviation activities
